ACADEMIC CURRICULUM & SUBJECT ALLOCATION
Transkei Primary School provides a comprehensive CAPS-aligned education from Grade RR to Grade 7. Our curriculum is enriched with modern technology, including projectors and computers in every classroom, and a dedicated Computer Lab for digital literacy and research purposes.
1. Foundation Phase (Grade R – Grade 3)
This phase focuses on primary foundational skills and early logic development. Grade RR is located at our Play School, while Grade R–3 classes are supported by a Grade Head and Phase HOD.

2. Intermediate Phase (Grade 4 – Grade 6)
In this phase, the curriculum expands into specialized content areas. There are currently four classes per grade, each supported by a Grade Head and Phase HOD.

3. Senior Phase (Grade 7)
Progression Update: Our four-class-per-grade structure will officially progress to the Senior Phase (Grade 7) next year, offering the following subjects:
