Notice to Parents: School Hours & Safety Protocols
1. DAILY SCHOOL HOURS Please ensure all learners arrive punctually as school starts at 07:00. Dismissal times are as follows: • Grade R, 1, and 2: 13:00 • Grade 3 to 7: 14:00
2. DISMISSAL & COLLECTION Learners not participating in scheduled extra-mural activities must be collected immediately at the designated school gates. We request that parents be prompt to ensure the safety of all children.
3. MORNING DROP-OFF PROTOCOL To maintain school security and foster learner independence, parents are not permitted to walk children into the school buildings in the morning. *Exception: Parents of Grade RR and Grade R learners only.
4. ROAD ETIQUETTE & TRAFFIC SAFETY We urge all parents to respect other road users on the road adjacent to the school. Do not park in the road or obstruct traffic. Cooperation in keeping the traffic flowing smoothly is essential for the safety of our learners and the community.
